Founded in 1927, TerMolen & Hart began serving the needs of its clientele in West Michigan. It operated out of a small shop at 59 Commerce SW in the Heartside District of downtown Grand Rapids.

TerMolen & Hart played an integral role in manufacturing custom truck parts for another local business, Ridin’ High, Inc., owned by Steve VanZytveld. Mr. VanZytveld purchased TerMolen & Hart in December of 1999. In March of 2002, Mr. VanZytveld expanded the business by purchasing McClees Metal Works. During this time, the company moved to a much larger, and more convenient, location next to US 131.

In their 81st year of serving the greater Grand Rapids community, TerMolen & Hart will move to 3718 Buchanan SW Suite H in Wyoming, MI. This new location will increase their capacity to tackle larger, more exciting projects and expand their ability to better serve every customer.

With the automation of much of this industry, shops and craftspeople capable of performing specialized jobs are increasingly hard to find. TerMolen & Hart is committed to keeping up with the latest technology, while continuing to offer its unique fabrication and repairing specialties.
